I am always very careful when I type the email address and the password. Each time we can not access it for 3 to 4 days. We have been BT members for a very long time and we never had any problems with out email account. Thanks for coming to the community and letting us know you have been unable to access your email account. Also the last message said our email account was locked . I can input username, email and password but then I get an error flagged up on the bt.com page –   it says to quote ‘bmx-2xxx’ from the url.

It’s been like it for several days now. When you’re accessing through iPhone is it connected to your home WIFI or is it using mobile data ? You could try using the “Email” button at the top of this page or the following link and if it works make a new shortcut. I KNOW that it will all burst into life if click a specific button, set a specific value SOMEWHERE…

There was information on the BTMail logon page but it has now been changed and is showing a different message. Log in with your primary ID to MY BT and then login to your other email account on the PC. Just don’t use the email account affected to login to MY BT. I keep getting sent round the houses – I log in to my BT account, click on email, put in my password and get sent back to the log in page for my BT account. Wait at least 30 minutes before starting your iPhone to set up the email account in the manner I have previously posted, with the new password. If you were still able to access your email via webmail it is obviously not a problem with your email accounts or with your password, hence the advice not to do anything.

I read on one of these messages that there was a bug in the system and someone form BT had sorted it out for them. I don’t have the premium email service. I’ve also tried through my tablet and even online through my home computer and get the same message.

You are using an incorrect email, username or password. That’s what I thought, if I was using an incorrect email, username or password (which I am not) I wouldn’t be getting them at home as normal! If you still can not get access to your email try using the “Forgot Log on Details” on the BTMail log on page and follow the prompts. I am sorry this has happened again for you, do you have more than one BT email account? We had to change our password several timesw but it din’t sort out the problem.

The email address that was looping, was NOT my primary account email address. Yes, I am using the BT email address and password. It is obviously me, I scrolled down settings and there is no Accounts & Passwords just Passwords which is just literally a list of sites and the passwords. Make sure the correct username and password are entered. I cannot see the password for incoming and outgoing mail servers just dots and I am not sure how to find out what they are/should be.

The song’s official video has been credited to Denna Cartamkhoub (as the producer) and Paul Gore (as the director) who also worked with Faith on her “Can’t Rely on You”‘s and Trouble with My Baby’s music video. The official music video for “Only Love Can Hurt Like This” was preceded by an “Off the Cuff” version, released on Faith’s official Vevo account and was premiered on 31 March 2014. Initially, Faith refused to record the song because she hadn’t any writing credit for it, however after hearing the song Faith felt overwhelmed by how (lyrically) the song reflected on her relationship and emotion at the time. I have had the same problem for 3 days now !

I am logged into the wireless network where I am staying with my mum. I am currently out of the country  on holiday and it started a couple days after I got here. Does this happen on your home wireless network and if you are out and about using 4/5g mobile network or just when at home? Any suggestions as to why this happened This has been going on for a few days. Server message Access denied”

I have been on chats twice all they do is point out the obvious -change your password, turn off your phone and then try again. I get the message mail.btinternet.com is not responding. You may find that the IP address of the network that you are using has been blacklisted by the BTMail servers. Ive been to this place many times before and this hasn’t happened before. Are you able to logon and use your BTMail account using a web browser? Are you presently a BT Broadband customer or are you paying for your email through a BT Premium email account?

Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings. I did use a genuine email address which is not Joe Bloggs and it worked. It may be different depending on which Outlook you are using but there must be a setting some where in order to put the password in for both servers. I don’t use Outlook, I prefer Thunderbird email client, but I do have Outlook 2010 on my computer so set up an email account on that. But I still can’t access them and the tick won’t stay in the box to have it as my preferred email address.

Yes, the BT app apparently doesn’t require 2 step Authentication. I have BT broadband and use standard email. If you get an error message at this point, tap OK.

When it restarts it should be issued with a new IP address and hopefully connected to a different email server which may work. Desktop access just goes into a repeating circle asking for user name and password before recircling to allow me time to enter anything. If my last message does not help have a look at this link and the part about server settings.

Have you deapthroat tried adding it manually rather than letting the automatic set up do it. I have done this several times (before contacting chat) and it doesn’t work, I have checked it is IMAP and no POP and it still wont work. How can I add my bt email to my iPhone? She is old and doesn’t like change. I decided in the end to just use webmail as I didn’t want to disturb anything at my mom’s house.. Failing that I would just use webmail till you return to the UK.
